Highlights:

· Robert Peccia, of Helena, bought the ranch in 1996 and has occasionally leased out the ranch for winter pasture to a neighbors cows. Previously used for recreation and Cashmere goats production.

· Summer grazing is leased to a neighbor who grazes the wetland in a four-pasture rest-rotation grazing system to produce a balance in the wildlife, environment and livestock requirements.

· Ranch has also constructed hardened access points along the waterways to attract cattle access to the water at these points.

· Ranch provides nesting habitat for many species of birds, especially water fowl. The ranch is also home to white-tail deer, brown trout, and many other game and non-game species.
